Icon Brainstorming

Here are 5 company ideas for my upcoming Icon design projects:

1) Piggin' Out: An app that allows its users to order barbecue from anywhere nearby and have it delivered.
2)Rent-a-Dog: A company that allows people whom would like to hang out with a dog, to rent it from a local animal shelter, walk it, and hang out with it so it has company.
3)Dogs Meet: An app in the style of dating apps, that allows for a person in search of a dog to adopt, to look through profiles of local dogs, whom are available for Dog adoption.
4) TacGO: An app that pulls up the closest Mexican restaurants with take out options
5)ClothesInc: A company that provides customers with clothes handpicked for them for a flat fee.

Introduction

Hello!

My name is Kate Beeken, and I am a freshman, New Media Production major at the University of Tampa. While in high school, I did introductory multimedia work with a digital multimedia class. Outside of school, I dabble in photography (mainly of dogs I see on the street).

and am a music-aholic, playing music, listening to music and attending live concerts. As I start college, I hope to gain more advanced knowledge of digital media, and eventually use it on the communications side of the music industry. Hopefully, in this Digital Media class, I will increase my comfortability with multimedia programs, and take this knowledge into a context that I am interested in, such as the music industry. With all this in mind, I am beyond excited to start this semester, and can't wait to see all I learn, and develop my skills!
